About the Artist
Marcus Webb left a career in marine biology to pursue landscape photography full-time in 2019, bringing a scientist's eye for detail to his images of the British coast. Based in Richmond, he makes regular trips to the Norfolk, Dorset, and Cornish coastlines, often camping overnight to catch the first light. He works with a medium-format digital system and prints exclusively on cotton rag paper, giving his images a tactile quality that rewards close viewing. His series 'Tideline' documenting the meeting point of land and sea was published by Dewi Lewis and featured in Outdoor Photographer of the Year. Marcus runs popular landscape photography workshops and believes strongly in making fine art photography accessible.
